The Prism Collective: Sian, James, Simon and Ali
| | | Prism is the alternative way for you to unpack the central theme of this year’s Baptist Assembly, One World, One Mission.
So, across five different zones, we’ll be attempting to unpack various facets of God’s mission in the world – bread-breaking (hospitality), friend-making (relationship), wrong-righting (peace and justice), earth-tending (creation care) and faith-sharing (proclamation and practice).
|
| Prism is interactive, participatory and exploratory. There’s opportunity to tell your story and hear the stories of others; write poems, prose and liturgy; paint pictures; compose songs and debate issues. We’ll be joined by people from other parts of the programme through the weekend, as well as having the opportunity to pray for those serving with BMS World Mission and being recognised as ministers.
This year’s Prism collective of Ali Boulton, Simon Jones, Sian Murray Williams and James Neve, have clocked up more miles of ministry and mission in a whole variety of locations than they care to admit to. They bring a range of experiences and interests, and look forward to helping to create a space where we can all engage with God and one another in such a way that, when we go home, we’ll see our world in a fresh, new light and be excited by the possibilities of joining God in his mission where we are.
